Thanks to Sarah for four years as farm coordinator
Wolfville, NS - Many thanks to Sarah Boudreau for four years of hard work and dedication at the Acadia Community Farm. Sarah completed her education degree this year and so sadly 2019 was her final season as Student Coordinator of the Acadia Farm.
During her four years as coordinator she accomplished many goals and collaborated with multiple partners to promote sustainable food systems and organic gardening on campus and in the community.
Highlights of her work include helping expand curriculum connections with several Acadia courses, introducing numerous students to the farm, mentoring students at Kings-Edgehill to establish their own school garden, helping organize the Acadia Farm's 10th anniversary celebration and much more. All the while she maintained a high grade point average and played on the Acadia Women's Varsity Rugby team!
We will miss Sarah, but recognize her many contributions in helping grow the garden over the last four years and wish her well! Thank you Sarah!!
