We are pleased to welcome Kathrynn Ashworth to the Acadia Community Farm for the 2022 season. Kathrynn is a second year student in Environmental and Sustainability Studies and History.  From a fifth generation farming family in New Brunswick, Kathrynn will be strong addition to the team.

Wolfville, NS - The Acadia Community Farm is pleased to welcome Katherine Waterbury to the position of Farm Coordinator for 2020. Katherine has been a long time volunteer at the farm, beginning with a co-op placement during her final year of highschool at NKEC.

Acadia Farm closed for 2020 season

The Acadia Community Farm is closed for the 2020 season as a result of ongoing campus closures due to Covid-19. Acadia University is aware of the importance of the Farm to the campus and Wolfville communities and regrets that this decision is necessary

From Ukraine to Acadia: The Story of Gido's Garlic

Wolfville, NS - In fall 2017, Dr. David Kristie, Director of Research for the KC Irving Environmental Science Centre, donated heirloom garlic to the Acadia Farm that traveled all the way from Ukraine.
